Huey's War Patch II T-Shirt
This piece was inspired by an iconic picture of the God, Huey P. Newton. He was seated in a wicker chair holding a spear and a shotgun. We tripled the spears and added the scope to make the shotgun into a rifle since accuracy is just as important as brute force...
In 1966, Huey, along with his comrade Bobby Seale founded the Black Panther Party for Self-Defense. Their efforts had a profound effect on an entire generation. Their grass roots movement involved the formation of neighborhood health clinics, free sickle cell testing, and of course, the Free Breakfast for Children program.
